Comedy Relief Night Fundraiser

The purpose of our fundraiser event is to raise funds toward research and development for the Calgary Mental Health Association - Calgary Region. With your generosity and support, we can reach our goal of $500!

A team of SAIT students has taken the challenge of being Project Managers for an upcoming fundraiser in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association - Calgary Region, as part of SAIT's Project Management course. This fundraiser is in the form of a Comedy Show on Friday, November 19th at 10:00 PM at Yuk Yuks. The night will consist of a 3-part act, beginning with host Matt Foster, then an act by Steve Taddy, and ending the night off with the event’s headliner, Todd Ness.

We strive to bring awareness to Mental Health issues in a way that shifts people’s perspectives on anxiety within the contemporary generation. It is time to shed light on the stigma of seeking out mental help. We all must share a similar goal: To build better mental health and mental health care for people in Calgary, as well as to prioritize early intervention for Gen Z and Gen A.

Support the cause for Mental Health awareness and have a laugh while you’re at it!

This Friday, November 19th at 10:00 PM, enjoy a night of laughter from our headliner Todd Ness and others, at Yuk Yuk's Calgary!

CMHA – Calgary Region builds awareness and provides education and support for individuals and families living with mental illness, addiction, or a loss by suicide. We work closely with other community organizations to bridge gaps in the mental health care system and facilitate access to important services and resources.
