Congratulations, you are now signed up for 'Well Minded'

We have created this page to help you with your fundraising. Please take a few minutes to complete a couple of details below, you will need to add a fundraising target to give you something to aim for (aim high!) and write a little bit about yourself to encourage people to help you reach that target. If you want to do this event as a team or in memory of a loved one you can set that up below as well.

Well Minded is a 10-kilometer charity fun run intended to raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with seeking treatment for mental health for Canadians. This fundraiser is an annual event open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. The fun run will be held on Saturday, August 20th at Prince's Island Park. Last year's event, even in the rain, created an unforgettable experience where runners had a great time and smashed all fundraising goals we had set out to accomplish. In total, we raised $13,218 for CMHA Calgary and we are looking to beat that this year! Mental health is an important aspect for the lives of all Canadians. The stigma associated with seeking help for your mental health or diagnosing a mental illness can act as a barrier to receiving the professional treatment many people need. These barriers can have a detrimental effect on Canadians and ultimately have fatal consequences. My family experienced this first hand when both of my brothers took their own lives.

CMHA – Calgary Region builds awareness and provides education and support for individuals and families living with mental illness, addiction, or a loss by suicide.
