I've always chosen CMHA Calgary for fundraising and donations over the past years. This cause has been one that has been important to me for my whole adult life. I've done my best in recent years to spread awareness but it just doesn't feel like enough.
People are in crisis right now and need advocates out there in the community as a beacon of light, a sign that they are not alone, someone to point them in the right direction.
I'm on a mission to spread support and awareness for Mental Health in my community. After my most recent journey of recovery to a good place of mental health, and having to take a significant amount of time away from my career I've decided that this is where I'm supposed to be, and what I'm meant to be doing.
